Actors, Performers and Other Artists
Casting directors don't hire web pages, they hire people with specific characteristics to fill specific roles. The same with other agents seeking performing artists. You don't need a fancy site to be found, you need a site that tells your story in about 4 seconds flat.
If an agent is using a search engine, they are entering specific characteristics and possibly locations into the search form. A list is generated and selections are made based on a short character string, often called a teaser, that contain keywords.
