One Pagers for Business
The Web has become the largest single source of information on where to find goods and services. Any business that expects to stay in business needs a web presence and needs to be locatable via search engines. Our intent is to provide that presence. In order to effectively market on the web, your site needs good search engine placement and your site needs to convey its message within 4 seconds.
One Pagers is designed to provide an efficient and easily indexed site for promoting your business. To this end, these sites are single pages that contain text information about your business, the industry and specific goods and services offered. These text fields are readily indexed by search engines such as google, thus making your business known to potential patrons as they search the web. Think of these sites as large business cards for your business.
One Pagers can benefit businesses that already have a web presence as they can provide links to existing sites, enhancing your search engine ratings.
One Pagers can include a printable coupon which may bring in even more customers.
One Pagers is not a Cost per Impression, Pay per Click, or Pay per Action web advertising service. This is a flat fee service. We don't employ popup ads, banners or any forms of spam. Our idea is that shoppers on the internet employ search engines looking for something specific, often local. By creating an informative page specific to your business and location the possibility of a highly placed listing is greatly increased.
Fields: The information posted on your site.
- Title: Displayed at the top of the browser screen, usually the same as the business name.
- Body: Introductory text content. It is displayed in the teaser on the front page of onepagers.net.
- Business Type: Not displayed but used for taxonomy.
- Business Name: Displayed if no letterhead image is available.
- Phone: telephone number
- Fax: fax number
- Email address
- Address: Street address.
- City: City name.
- State: State abbreviation.
- Zip: Zip code.
- Web: Web address.
- About Us: A large text field for describing business.
- Goods and Services: A large text field for describing goods and services provided by the business.
- Letterhead: An image meant to display the business letterhead at the top of the page. This is an image in order to preserve any special fonts and florishes used by the business. If not present the business name is displayed. This image should be the same height as the logo image.
- Alternate Letterhead Text: Character string displayed if Letterhead cannot be displayed by a browser.
- Logo: An image of the business logo. The size should be 100x100px or 1/3 of an inch square.
- Alternate Logo Text: Character string displayed if Logod cannot be displayed by a browser.
- Picture: An image used in the main content of the page. Be careful not to over dominate the page with this image. No larger than 500x500 px.
- Alternate Picture Text: Character string displayed if Picture cannot be displayed by a browser.
- Coupon Terms: A phrase describing any special deal offered by a printable coupon.
